U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Urges Caution at the Lakes over Labor Day Weekend
The last recreation days of summer don't have to be deadly. Already this year for the Fort Worth District, there have been 33 water related deaths at Corps operated lakes in Texas. The Corps of Engineers is encouraging lake visitors to practice safety while enjoying the benefits of outdoor recreation.
